Roughy the Cat needs a home

Roughy is a sweet and friendly 6-year-old orange tabby who originally came to us from the Salinas Shelter after coming in as an injured stray. Once the wound on his leg healed, Roughy was adopted, but he recently came back into our care when his guardian could no longer care for him. Now Roughy is fishing for a new forever home!  He's a lovable clown of a cat who enjoys lounging belly-up on his cat bed and rubbing against your leg to ask for petting.
